We encountered some quite challenging Terrain as we left Ages.
From the peak of 1080m we could see the sprawling city of Burgos, our final destination some 18 Km ahead.

The route into the city followed the busy N120, quite an impact on the senses compared to previous days.

We somehow managed to separate for the last 10km I took the main route and the others went via the massive Bridgestone tyre factory.

Burgos Cathedral was an incredible site – we had reached our planned destination and have covered 108 miles.

Our last night was cut short by the 10pm Pilgrims curfew, ironic really as there was a fiesta on which kept us awake until the early hours.

Our Pilgrimage to Santiago is on hold now until next time…
