Dr John has booked the flights for 4th April to take us back to Bilbao so that we can restart our Camino at Burgos – Fantastic!!!
With 7 days walking – Leon as our target destination seems a distinct possibility ( taking into account the odd Blister from Dr John and strained Achilles Tendon from Geoff)

Friday 4th April Fly to Bilbao, bus to Burgos – Burgos overnight
STAGE 13 Saturday 5th April Burgos to Hontanas 26 Km (7 h’rs)
STAGE 14 Sunday 6th April onto Boadilla del Camino 28Km ( 6.5 h’rs)
STAGE 15 Monday 7th April onto Carrion de Los Condes 21Km ( 6 h’rs)
STAGE 16 Tuesday 8th April onto Ledigos 22.5 Km (6 hours) …or Moratinos 27 Km
STAGE 17 Wednesday 9th April onto El Burgo Ranero 32 Km (8 h’rs)…or less maybe
STAGE 18 Thursday 10th April onto Mansilla 18.6 Km ( 5 h’rs)
Friday 11th April onto Leon 17 Km ( 5 h’rs)
Saturday 12th April Leon t0 Bilbao by train / bus
Sunday 13th April Bilbao to UK by plane
then just 15 stages to go…back in October!
